Intent to Award The U.S.
Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for a sole source Purchase Order with Earthscope Consortium, Inc.
Continuous GNSS Data Archiving.
The period of performance of the resulting award will be one year after award.
The U.S.
Geological Survey (USGS), Virginia-West Virginia Water Science Center (VA-WV WSC), requires specialized services for the long-term archiving, curation, and dissemination of continuous Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data generated by USGS-supported stations.
The requirement includes routine annual archiving services for active stations and a one-time ingestion of historical data for a legacy station.
Therefore, it intends to make a direct award to Earthscope Consortium, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) ¿ only one source reasonably available pursuant to the procedures under FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C.1901 or the authority of 41 U.S.C.1903.
This is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals but rather an intent to sole source notification.
