Institute of Pacific Island Forestry landscape maintenance at the Office building grounds.

The purpose of this contract is to have frequent mowing, weeding, and general lawn maintenance year-round at the Institute of Pacific Island Forestry Laboratory.

In the past the Institute of Pacific Island Forestry had a full-time maintenance work that did the mowing, and general grounds cleanup, but the position is currently is vacant.

There was also a landscape company that did the general lawn maintenance, but the contract expired was not renewed.

When proposals are similar in technical capability and price, contractors local to Hawaii that submit a proposal, receive preference.
