SCOPE OF WORK: The work will provide a modernized HVAC system that will ventilate, heat, and cool the spaces in the powerhouse using river water for both heating and cooling sources.

The new system must allow for efficient powerhouse pressurization to reduce smoke and dust ingress into the powerhouse, prolonging equipment life for many assets and providing for good indoor air quality for occupants.

The occupied spaces must be provided with sufficient ventilation, comfort heating and comfort cooling.

The control room and stairwells must be provided with a system that will be capable of pressurizing those spaces with clean outside air for the exclusion of smoke during a fire event anywhere in the powerhouse in addition to providing sufficient ventilation, comfort heating and comfort cooling.
