THIS PROJECT REQUIRES ALL LABOR, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, TRANSPORTATION, ENGINEERING, AND SUPERVISION TO PERFORM UTILITY ROUTING FOR PROJECT AXQD242790, ALLIED SUPPORT SUNSHADES UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE, AT 104 FW, BARNES ANGB, WESTFIELD, MA 01085.
SCOPE: ESTABLISH A SECURE, REDUNDANT UNDERGROUND UTILITY CORRIDOR FOR 480V POWER AND OSP FIBER TO TWO TIE-IN POINTS.
WORK INCLUDES APPROXIMATELY 800 LF OF HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING, HDD, UNDER AIRFIELD PAVEMENTS AT MINIMUM 8 FT DEPTH; PRIMARY CIRCUIT TIE-IN SPLICING INTO 22.9KV BASE LOOP IN MANHOLE 110, EMH 110, WITH IEEE 386 200A ELBOWS; INSTALLATION OF ONE PAD-MOUNTED TRANSFORMER, 22.9KV PRIMARY TO 480Y/277V SECONDARY, 250KVA, ON FROST-PROTECTED CONCRETE PAD; BACKUP SYSTEM WITH 400A NEMA 3R MANUAL TRANSFER SWITCH AND CANNON PLUG RECEPTACLE; AND NEMA 3R/4X COMMUNICATIONS CABINET WITH FIBER PATCH PANELS.
