This is a NOTIFICATION ONLY of an anticipated and forthcoming solicitation.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District, anticipates issuing a solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract for the complete repair and modernization of Building 2008 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.

Scope of Work: The project scope consists of comprehensive interior and exterior renovation of Building 2008, an occupied, historic facility.

The project includes, but is not limited to, the complete demolition and replacement of the building’s mechanical systems (including boilers and HVAC), electrical infrastructure (including panels, wiring, and LED lighting), and plumbing systems.

The Contractor shall install new life safety systems, including a building-wide fire suppression system and an upgraded fire alarm network.

The scope encompasses structural repairs to the concrete foundation, architectural repairs to the exterior envelope and all interior finishes, and the abatement of hazardous materials (asbestos and lead).
